Duct tape, an Exacto knife, Scissors, China Pens or permanent markers, Miracle grow potting mix, and your containers. In this post we will be using our recycled milk jugs!
If you choose to use china pens (highly recommended) you are able to label your jugs on the top, but when using permanent markers such as sharpies, you would need to stick a piece of tape on the bottom and label there. This will prevent the marker wiping off.
With the Exacto knife, we will be cutting below the hinge of our jugs. Please leave space for the jug to open and close so it is easier to tape afterwards. After cutting around the jug, you will then need to cut holes to allow for drainage.
